2004 Focus window regulator HELP!

Drivers side electric window has stopped working. I need to buy a new regulator, Ford being expensive want £200!! This guy

is much more realistic. Problem is im not technical so how do i know if i need an 8 or 2 pin model?
Anyone assist?

Hi Mark you would have to take your door card/trim off and unlug the multi plug to see how many pins/connections there are. you could also take down the code on the motor and then have a look on ebay and search for ford focus breaking,ask them if they have a motor for sale how much and so on then confirm the code on it
