Speaking to the Scotish Clan at the BBWF about a run up to them sometime.

These guys travel down to the Wedgefest and really enjoy the occasion and are a great bunch of people.

So i am trying to put a run together north of the border/around the borders.

I am thinking a run up on Saturday 26th September.

Some great roads up there, and i am sure some great hospitality.

If anyone is interested post up as i have started to look around at some hotels and guest houses.

Just an idea if there is some interest.

I will post this on the main events forum if there is enough interest.

This is aimed as a run out and about and not a gathering as such.

Hi Carob

Are you thinking of going above Glasgow, Edinburgh or are you going to say in the area of Dumfriesshire and the Scottish Borders.
Sounds intersting

Aye, could be up for it. A ride out, that is, not some shenigans with Rob's missus tongue out

Most of the tourists will have fecked away off home by then so there should be no getting stuck behind grandad flat-hat.

Sounds like a good idea Rob. I'm up for it.

I'd prefer to do a run round the borders.

Hi Lads/Gals,
Will need to rush you wedgers on who's wanting to go on the Rusty Nail Run. The weekend in question [25/26th sept] is a holiday weekend in scotland and could get harder to book if left to long.
PS --Rob, thinking of hotels around the Dumfries area so that its not to far for the chaps/chapeses that are willing to join us for the weekend.
regards jonny..

Dumfries area sounds good.

Did not realize it was a holiday up there that weekend.

You could meet up some where just over the border before the hoon.
Just my 10p worth or there is a nice run down from New Galloway to Newton Stewart throught the forest.

Jonny Weggie has found this venue

www.cairndalehotel.co.uk

It certainly looks a cracker and ticks all the boxes

The Hotel has blocked some rooms for us but they need to have numbers within the next 48 hrs.

Also if there is anyone interested in stopping both the Friday and Saturday night add to the list both nights

I know, bit of a mad rush, but hey were Wedgers everything is done at SPEED.

Regards

Rob
