1/4 mile times

has any one done 1/4 mile and what was the time did you do and in what kind of nob with what hp

i have a 3r stock and the best i did was 12.93s

That's about what you would expect for a stock 3R. The telling thing about HP with 1/4 mile times though is the terminal speed. Times can be adversely affected by the driver, Terminal speed is a more accurate indicator of car HP, actual times achieved can identify driver shortfalls

the most i got was 107mph but that was not the fastes run

The best i got without trying to destroy the car was 10.76 seconds at about 125mph

don't suppose you were at Carlisle airport were you. I had a colleague who went to watch and said there was a 3R there which looked a bit tasty and pretty quick.

when you say destroy the car, do you mean launching the car off the line ?

just did the calcs - thats approx 410 bhp

Yeah, i got it off the line quickly but didn't side step the clutch etc!

I have a bit more power than that but i'm kind to my car..............even if it's in a drag race!

1/4 mile was accurate, the mile was a 10th short though due to a problem with a cable being chewed by a Rabbit the night before the racing!
