steering rack tie rod end removal ?

good morning to you all,

had to mis the growl unfortunately but i will go in future!!

a message from a fellow griffith driver from holland in need of some help pls.
i'd like to do some things myself on my car (love my car), things that i can do i think but...

started front suspension overhaul (nice job) and now i cannot remove the trackrod ends mainly because i removed all hubs / wishbones etc. but forgot to disconnect while on the hub (not experienced unfortunately way to enthusiast i'm affraid).

now my question to you with obvious more experience, can i remove in total both steering rack tie rod ends (with track rods ends) to renew them also they are not that much, pounds 19 each.

how do you remove them turn anti clockwise or does that harm the steering rack they are screwed on to rack in rubber gaitor.

hope you can help me with the best thing i can do?

You can use mole grips/stillsons to hold the track arm if there are no flats for a spanner on your track rod ends. Count the number of threads visible to give you a rough alignment when you put it all back together.

i will try with the tools you suggested and a lot of wd40 because the lock nut next to the track rod end is also very stubborn.
the lock nut will move clockwise or anti clockwise just to be sure?
