Pitpass seem to be putting sarcastic little closing quips on all their news reports the last few days. There is a rather amusing one on the end of the article pertaining to this. The one about Red Bull and Williams objection to Schumacher testing is even funnier.

I stayed in the Headland Hotel Newquay on 15/16th May and saw Ross Brawn there at breakfast. I congratulated him on his team's success whilst we waited for toast. Perhaps he travels to Cornwall regularly. The two cameras on route are pretty obvious so I hope it wasn't one of those.

My moneys on a S Class. S55 I reckon. Would tie in nicely with Brawn using Merc engines, (or are they Merc only in name with D&B done by Illmor?)

It was reported on another website as being a Mercedes (probably an S-class). Ilmor were bought out by Mercedes a few years ago (after the death of co-founder Paul Morgan) and became Mercedes-Ilmor and are now called Mercedes-Benz High Performance Engines. Very few of the original Ilmor staff remain.

Ilmor Engineering has since re-surfaced with Mario Illien at the helm. They now design and build the Honda engine for the IndyCar series in the US, as well as various other special projects.

Both companies are still located in Brixworth, Northamptonshire.
