anyone know the black 348 in classifieds?
Discussion
Hi all, as mentioned previously, The maser qp is about to go and I quite liked the look of the black 348ts advertised at 24,995.
To be honest I´d rather (obviously) a 355 but funds all tied up at the moment & I can do a swap in my favour for the QP. I´d also rather a spider but just none around right now that I have seen (I really only want nero, grigio or poss silver)..
So , just wondered if anyone knew this 348? Its just had major service inc belts.
I would obviously get it checked pre purchase (oh, and if anyone knows of a set of 355 wheels for sale then i,d love to know)
Cheers all

This one has been for sale for quite a while (I enquired on it back in March, only by phone). It was up for £26750 but it had 11 previous owners which personally put me off, but that doesn't mean that its not a good car.
This may also be the car that was for sale back in June last year which means the previous owner only had it for about 7-8 months. If it is the same one then the belts were done back then by Shiltech.
Hope this helps

It wouldn't put me off looking at the car, at the end of the day it's really about current condition and most recent service.
I bought a similar car not too long ago, the last owner only had it a few months then sadly passed away, ownership was then moved around the family before it was finally sold so it racked up 3 owners in the space of a year, so now it's on 10.
Also the time the 348 was launched was a bit of a boom/bust yuppie era, so it may have changed hands regularly early in it's life. Not every Ferrari (esp the 348) gets bought and put in a private collection for 20 years.
I think you can write to the DVLA, pay a small fee and get a list of all previous owners and dates, though you might have to be the registered keeper of the car to do this.
