Coolant pipe arrangement

I am just in the process of fitting shiny new coolant pipes and hoses but can't remember how the pipes around the thermostat go.

Please could someone tell me if the below looks right. The pipes in the kit are quite long and it does not matter if they have to be cut a bit shorter.

Yep that looks correct to me.

One word of warning. Make sure you can fit your screen wash bottle!

in the second picture the part of the thermostat you have facing to the engine i think shounld be facing up towards the bonnet.

Has anyone else got any opinions on the position of the stat (Or even better a photo of theirs)


Mike and Sonny, I am not discounting what you are saying but you both of you have said different things and I need confirmation before I start hacking my coolant pipes up!

On the stat the sticky outy bit wants to point to the rear of the car. If that makes sense.
