ls2 or ls3?

hi guys just looking a bit of advice.....

im considering a vxr8 at the minute, local dealers are selling new ls3's at under 25k but they dont have any manuals left, they do have an 08 ls2 for around 22k or less.....is there a big difference in the performance? should i wait and travel to england for an ls3 or is the older engine fine?

Its definately worth holding out for an LS3 the 10kw advertised difference doesnt tell the full story.
