Hello all,

I have an unwanted car I'm being told I should move on to another owner. Basically it hasn't been driven on the road for nearly four years since I was given a company car. The company car came with a very insecure job so I thought I'd keep hold of the old snotter in case the worst came to the worst. Well, time has moved on and I've been in the job ever since, and what with moving house and all I haven't needed use of the car since. So how do I move on/sell a car that's been without tax/MOT for that period?

All advice appreciated.

FWIW it is a BMW 320i K reg 80,000 miles 4 door saloon. It's been kept under cover all this time and started every several months just because I thought I should. (Starts up every time by the way)

Apologies if this breaks some kind of rule.

I think you should tax it or at least record as SORN and then just advertise somewhere with caveat that its not been used, Im not sure anybody will want it unless you are giving it away

I'd stick it on eBay, sounds like a drift car in the making, someone will have it.
