electric windows

Hi, I have been meaning to ask this for a while now.

My electric windows, when you press and hold the button they go all the way down automaticly. But this is not the case when closing them. They only go up for as long as the button is down for.

This is the odd thing, when i first got it (jan), they wouldn't auto open or close.

Have I somehow reset it to auto open without knowing. there is no option on the settings menu on the dash for windows? Anyone else had this? Is this what is supposed to happen or should it auto close? If so how the hell do I get it to auto close?

Mine only auto open aswell, bit of a ballache but ho-hum

if the battery has gone flat or been disconnected then the auto function needs resetting, as far as im aware if you hold but in close position for a few seconds that resets the auto down function. but im sure there is no auto up

there is no auto up as its a safety feauture incase someone has a head in the way or hand but is supposed to stop in my case it slows down very quick if something is jammed

That all seems to make sense about the auto up. Mine slows down about 6inches from closing.
