So this Kenwood thing with an inbuilt Garmin satnav is bloody annoying. On a recent trip to Spa, not a cloud in the sky, it would often lose track of satellites, the screen then went blank for about half a minute before coming back online. Not what you want if circumnavigating the Strasbourg ring road, or going through Saarbrucken.

I can live with the fact that it isn't a proper "plumbed in" satnav (though really, Lambo, you're taking the piss) but why does it "black out" instead of continuing to show the map at your last location?

I assume this is the same for Murci/LP640 owners. Any advice?

Thanks!

PS. Obviously all is forgiven when you press the loud pedal!

I think i have the same unit in my Gallardo,i have put a extra little black receiver box in the centre of the dash right near the windscreen its looks ok most people don't even notice it but it never has lost its signal hope this helps.

I've not had that on mine, probably a fault

but what I do sometimes get when playing the ipod is the screen goes blue with "no parking" written on it
To get back to the ipod control I have to go back via the SRC screen
Anyone else had that problem?

I also think the radio reception could be a lot better

Thanks Doug - it is going for the 2500km service tomorrow so I will get it checked. I've not had any "no parking" events with the ipod - yet. Not used the radio either

AndrewGilly, your Superleggover doesn't seem to have popped up for sale at a dealer anywhere. Did someone snaffle it immediately?
