Few years back saw a sort of 3 wheeler Morgan replica, think it used a Honda V twin engine on the front.

Anyone know who made (makes) them, what they're called, or where I might find out more about them ?

Could it be the Triking? Uses a Moto-Guzzi motor and drivetrain.

Nice little motor - but I wouldn't want to put one through the IVA now (no reverse, for a start).

FWIIW, Triking has had a reverse gear option for years. If i remember correctly, they mate the Guzzi engine to a Ford or Toyota 5-speed inline gearbox. I'm not sure they're still in production, though.

The other similar Morgan lookalike was/is the JZR, which used the Honda CX500 vee twin (although Pan European V4 and MotoGuzzi variants were also available).

And Harley, if I remember correctly.

if it's running on a v-twin and 3 wheels, can it not be MSVA'd?

(or is it MIVA'd?)

I'd like to see the gearbox attachment for that.

Indeed. It used a Type 9.

Common 5-speeder as used in Capris, Sierras, Cortinas (I think).
