Combe... Timetable and stuff

Hi all,
I'm just trying to plan out my weekend a little and would like to know roughly what the timetable is for the weekend? When are people getting there, where are you staying, when is the Britcar on, when are the TVRs on etc... Also, I don't suppose anyone has any pit garages? the prospect of staying in my little one man tent in the weather we've been having lately doesn't fill me with excitement!

I'm camping out too but only Saturday night. Most of the guys will be staying on site, either in tents or motorhomes. Most of them will get there Friday night and set up as signing on and scrutineering are early on Saturday morning and qualifying is at 10.30 so they have to be in the assembly area for 10.10. I think a few are already there, as there is testing today and a trackday tomorrow. I will be there for about 7.00 - 7.30 Saturday morning ready to find the media centre to sign on and get my very fetching tabard.
It seams the form is there is a good cafe and bar on site and they are keeping it open as there is a large TVRCC camping contingent as well as the britcar groupies.
I dont expect there will be much room in the padock as the Britcar boys seem to have big trucks. You need to get a padock pass if you having already got one.

I shall be there from Fri late afternoon in my luxury autopod (tent!) which sleeps both the car and me + spare space. Let me know if you want a bed-space - I have a spare American style camp-cot which gives a reasonably comfortable night off the ground + gene for mod-cons such as fridge for the beers!

yep you can get into the paddock with an extra couple of quid on the entry... you'll not get a car in the paddock though, without a competitors car paddock pass, as the paddocks quite smallG
Well the point is that I should have a pass waiting somewhere for me anyway as I'm paid by JR to attend the races and do the various bits that I do. Part of this is that tickets are provided for me to get into the circuit. With JR being away though, I'm doubting that I'll get my usual ticket!

Not sure why I did not think about this, but GF did, she said phone BRSCC and ask them if they could send some out. Just phoned them and they are putting 2 in the post 1st class. hopefully I'll get them. they are always very friendly. I just explained I'm not racing due to truck problems but going to help.
I'm sure if you let them know you do the Data log control and John normally sorts yours passes, but he's on holiday they will send you a pass.
