I'd say about 105-107 dB. My standard exhaust with CC's is about 98-100 dB.

Depends on the popping and banging, which send db meters off the scale!

If you can hold it steady around 4000rpm about 105-110db.

Mine was measured at the Raleigh Rally back in June. Managed to beat all the other cars tested and got the award for the Noisiest Bugger. I did think that it was going to be louder though.

Pah, a mere whisper. Try 130 dB. That's how loud a de-catted CC'd Tuscan should be.

I agree, I thought mine should have been louder, it was at 4000 revs. Must measure it again/

Got pulled by the local plod at 92dB with a factory standard setup at 3k rpm. NSW noise limit is 90dB - DOH! Luckily they just asked me to keep the noise down - hate to think what it would have been at 6k !

You can check roughly on an iPhone... or a Nokia 5140, but I'm probably the only person in the world that still has one kicking around.

No, I've got one too, the blue rubbery one!! They are reasonably accurate and I've kept hold of mine just for the sound meter. Recorded 115dB with just the cans sleeved. Now the cats are out its muuuuuuuuuuch louder, especially when it pops. laugh

I had my Tuscan 4.3 standard exhaust, de cat, noise tested [ for free smile] at Goodwood last week, surprisingly it was 98db at 5k.
Maybe the deeper growl of the 4.3 helps.

Me thinks a little play is in order wink
