Bathurst

I've ordered a Bathurst edition VXR8 in Evoke.Ordinarily WP deck them out with black stripes etc but the dealer reckons they won't stand out enough on Evoke. They reccomend white. I'm not sure, what do you good folks think. Would be fantastic if one of you super techs could magic up a couple of those computerised pics just to give me an idea wat it would look like both ways. Thanks in advance.

i thought the stripe on the evoke bathurst was nice and subtle.

but white with a black stripe is the one to get.

V2 RAC i was gonna say why are you leaving us. Who else am i going to look out for whilst in Rhyl. Great to see you having a Bathurst. When do you pick it up??? I'm coming to Wales today until September 7th. It would be great to meet you and have a nose around the beast

And Mel on the question of picking up Bathurst S's (and as been commented before not BaRhurst....!) looks like mine will not be ready from Slaters until the second week of Septmeber. Maybe catch you in the Midlands on the way home. Oh and stipes remaining on mine - never was going to be a subtle car anyway. And specially after TG I wll take pride in being a banker in the loudest possible (in eevery sense) VXR8.......

I think we will be home on the 8th so PM me or post on here and we can hock up I could maybe see what a couple of the other V8 lads are doing, see if we can turn it into a meet

Hi Mel you're having a month's hols in your holiday home eh, nice one. I suspect delivery will be end of this month. I'll post when I've got me grubby paws on it and if you'r around you are welcome to have a go. Looks like the weather has improved so have a good time. (eyes peeled)

Totaly agree the white with black stripe is the best, get mine back tomorrow, should sound a bit better and go a little quicker

Thats what I am thinking of, the 2300, spoke to Mark this morning but still would like to see what the new Wortec one is all about first B4 I make up my mind, trouble is whats going to let go first, the transmission or my wallet !!!!

Mine's gonna be black with white stripes. Not seen one in the flesh yet but I imagine it will have a certain "presence"!

Not sure about evoke with black stripes....black with matt stripes would be the best combo ala the Shelby Mustang 500 (KITT Car!)but alas 'tis not an option.

Its a shame the brochures arent a little better...unless you're going for a white one like the press car there are few piccies about.

ps you cant de-stripe a Bathurst...sacrilege, imo!
