Its that dreaded time again when I have to dig deep to insure my baby. A-Plan did a blinding job last year when I first purchased my TIV having not had my own car or any NCB for over 10 yrs (Company car driver and still am) nobody came close to the £1000 I was quoted, considering I had zero NCB and declaring a total of 8 points that were all 3+ years old I thought was a good deal.

Anyway renewal has come in almost the same as last year and most of the other jokers have come in at £1500+. A-Flux wanted almost £1900…… confused

Then there is Hagarty. £496 with £350XS yikes (higher xs because I keep my car on the drive). Several phone calls later just to check all the details were correct and they aren’t yanking my chain + having the T&C’s checked by my companies insurance bods and it seems it’s the real deal.

What is the general feeling about them? I appreciate the no naming/shaming policy on the forums but credit where credit is due this is an awesome deal compared to the rest of the market.

Yep, I paid around £350 for my T350 last time round. In comparison, the BMW Z4 I've just sold cost £440 to insure.

Only heard good things about them , they get strongly recommended on the S forum ( were i have lurked for the last few years ) My S is still with Mannings but they couldn't match Hagerty for the Tam .
