Heard on the grapevine that the local Ferrari owners where having a pub meet close by. As I gatecrashed last year, it was a nice evening last night and I fancied a beer, I rustled up a couple of local TVRs (and a Porsche, but I wasnt going to mention that ) and headed out

We arrived for me to be 'collared' by the local organiser (you know, gentleman of retirement age in white shirt and chinos) asking me to be quiet when I leave the pub, as at their meet last year a yellow TVR roared off down the road when departing, making so much noise popping and banging that local residents had thought someone was shooting a gun from a speeding car and called the police.

Apparently last year an armed response vehicle duly turned up 10 minutes after my departure

He He Nice one Fubes. Reminded me of when we in Germany and that guy came over and asked us to turn the cars off, as they couldn't here the DTM car that the TV crew were trying to film

Actually I'm thinking of "louding" it again.

Well, I had a cold engine by then. However, I did get a few pops and bangs as I went out of sight, but not the full glory of last year
