This one actually works pretty well if you get it right.
And it's easy to build, once you've mastered the one tricky fold.

These are the two I normally make:

The one labelled A is fantastic for air-time, thrown straight up it will linger in the air for ages, performing lazy circles and catching the breeze well.
Type B on the other hand is for distance. It will fly arrow straight every time (thanks to the deep keel) and glides very flat (thanks to the zigzag in the wings). Launched gently from the back of a 400 seat lecture theatre it will comfortably sail over the lecturers head and hit the screen at the front.
