I really like the clean look of Mondaine watches

and the other half says she will buy one for my birthday. I was just wondering if anyone knew of any particular online retailers who offered good deals and had a wide range I can look at.

A quick google has revealed these guys who seem as good as any so far, but any suggestions welcomed.

Thanks

Neil at chronomaster.co.uk has recently started stocking these. He is a one man company with excellent reputation. Have bought a couple of watches from him in the past and never had any issues

Can't remember where I got mine, it was a Guardian Readers Offer I stumbled across when Googling for Mondaine.

Have you also looked at NOMOS or Stowa for Bauhaus style watches?

I bought one years ago, can't recommend a retailer unfortunately but can recommend the watches. A design classic IMO.

ETA

They are based on the Swiss railway clocks and feature in the New York museum of modern art.

I love this automatic. £335 is not bad.

Just like my new one:

Slightly cheaper than that from a well known jewellers in Lincoln who gave excellent service. Excellent watch too - very pleased with it. The strap feels a little flimsy at first but you soon realise it is incredibly soft and flexible leather,

Very nice clean design. I take it the jewellers you speak of is James Usher?? That is the only one in Lincoln that I know of who stocks these. I have always had good service when I have been in there.

Yes - James Usher. Couldn't fault them for service, and even a hand written receipt!
