Have had an issue with the rear wheel, sounds like the brakes are rubbing. Had them skimmed at monkfish but still have the problem so the only thing that springs to mind is a possible wheel bearing.

If this is the case what is the rough cost to replace such wheel bearing..

The brakes are fairly new so cant see it being them thats faulty.

Cheers guys

Sounds familiar. Is it more of a rubbing or a squeaking noise? Would be interested to see if it's the same as I have at the moment, and whether it's defo a bearing.

Sounds like a rubbing, like the disk is rubbing against the pad the faster go the more it subsides, and only seems to happen more after excessive braking or when its hot. Annoying

jack the wheel up mate and grab a hold of it and go side to side if theres any movement then ur wheel bearings shot there about 60 pound and take about 1 to 2 hours to fit if u have a press on hand

if not it could be ur brake wear pad indicator ribbing on the top of the disc or somethin silly like that...

Surely if it was and indicator or something that it would have been sorted when monkfish skimmed the dics?
