What are people using to stick the insulation back up on the bonnet? I opened my bonnet today for a quick checkover & mine was lying on the engine!

Age-old problem; very few adhesives work well on GRP. Not helped in the engine bay by the heat and fumes flying around, which usually causes the lining to curl up at the edges.
You'd probably find that degreasing and then roughening up the bonnet surface would provide a decent key for EvoStik, but how well it will grip the lining is anyone's guess.

Easy - have an engine fire, it falls off then don't bother replacing it. That's what I did...;)

That's probably not the best option though......

Take bonnet off, lay it upside down, large pot of evostick, leave it overnight, job done. Thats what I did and its now fine.

I used some high temp silicone adhesive, worked fine, but best to take the bonnet off so you can turn it upside down.

I've heard of copydex being used too - though not tried it myself.

With all - bonnet off - coat surface(s) and put something on top of insulation to ensure it gets some pressure across the whole surface.

oh if you put some carpet under the bonnet or do it inside, you can then put books and stuff on the matting to keep pressure on it.

Evostik works but only for a few years.

Easier than removing the bonnet is to place some wooden blocks on the engine and let the bonnet rest on them overnight, thus pressing the soundproofing into place.

Mines had quite a few coats of Evo stick and its really looking stty now.

When interest in the Wedge increases again, I intend to remove it, make good, and use some spray insulation ...
