Just been down to a local dealers to look at a couple of new VRX8 he had just received. Both had obviously been in a compound for a number of months - algie on the window seals, covering of grime etc. Priced at around £24k though. Is there any advantage in the auto 'box over the manual? Am I correct in saying that apart from fuel and tyres they are fairly cheap car to run - servicing etc?

They maybe relatively cheap to run compared to other cars in the same league but its when you start adding on the extras when it all goes horribly wrong.......

Never driven or even been in one but the autobox can be tuned to make it quite sharp and effective - guess it just comes down to if you have a thing for auto or manual.
