[quote=# Lord Lucan #]Any of the big players like Audi or Peugeot doing a free ticket promotion this year?
I know the answer is probably no but no harm in seeing if it is on the cards

Neither of the above will be racing (unless you count the privateer Audis). Aston, Oreca and Pescarolo will be the big fish I think.

From what I've read/heard, there is zero chance of seeing a works Audi in europe again this year. It is doubtful whether they'll even bother for Petit in the US. There was some talk on Midweek Motorsport that they might not even run again until Le man 2010!
Peugeot have not confirmed what they are doing but they was talk of the doing Laguna Seca and Petit Le Mans in the ALMS, no mention of european races. With regard to LMS, haven't Peugeot only done the Spa 1000km this year, used as a test for Le Mans?

No works Pugs or Audis but 40ish entrants is a good show.blueST said:
It'll be on Eurosport, but some of their coverage has been decidedly ropey. Le Mans and then Portugal were covered ok but some of the earlier rounds were shocking.
What do you mean? I can't see anything wrong with showing the first 1.5hrs, cutting to show a load of cycle racing repeats, then coming back for the last 1hr...//j17 said:

It wouldn't matter if they showed 100% live and uninterrupted, with Carlton Kirby commentating I still wouldn't have a clue what's going on.

He will be racing the Ginetta-Zytek GZ09S, along with son Greg and former Le Mans winner, Ginetta Chairman Lawrence Tomlinson
Tomlinson certainly knows how to grab a headline!
'Go Ginetta' as they used to advertise in the early 70s!
Go on Nige!
should bring in the crowds what with half the Mansell family competing... Mansell's son Leo is also entered driving the team Modena's Ferrari F430 GT in LMGT2.

Close run thing for Luc Alphand, one of their Corvettes is now a burnt out wreck. The transporter burnt out with one of the cars (the nominated FIA GT entry) inside.
