Had a play with one of these today in the Jag STR. I pulled away but not by as much as I would have expected. Is this normal or was this one tweaked?! Time for a pulley upgrade?!

Mrs WR had a new 320cdi CLS last year EXTREMELY fast, awesome in fact for an auto, considering the weight of the car, especially if you retro fit a Brabus chip.

Its the sheer amount of torque they produce that makes it fast & feel even faster.

They are fantastic engines, although expensive when they go wrong!

320CDI in our (somewhat big and heavy!) GL ... also fitted with the Brabus kit. Very impressive engine and it has no trouble hauling the bulk around! sub-8sec 0-60 isn't too bad for a two and a half ton "truck" of a 4x4! biggrin
