Opening RSW in photoshop.

Hi everyone, i have just been opening up some raw files from a canon 5d in photoshop here at work, everything is fine, but when i try to open the raw files from my 1000d it says cannot open this file as it is not compatible with photoshop. Whats going on?

I'd imagine the photoshop raw importer doesn't support the 1000D yet?

Can always open them in Canon's DPP then re-save and open in photoshop as a work-around.

A quick search reveals Adobe Camera Raw 4.6 and 5.2 (and Lightroom 2) support the 1000D, might be worth checking if you can update your ACR version
