McDonalds car park - Midnight last saturday

After a night out, 2 friends and myself went to McDonalds in slough, parked up in the car park with our car facing a wall, a group of men pull up in a corsa, 3 black guys, in the back, mixed race girl in the passengers seat and a big white bloke driving and reverse park next to us
Minding our own business, and tucking into our Big Macs, the driver looks at my passenger and says is your mate alright, looking a bit dazed I look towards him, just then the driver gets out of his car, realizing something is going on, I lock the doors and put the windows up.
He then gets back into the car and pulls up behind us, i.e. locking us in, the three of us now s*****g it, the driver hurls more abuse at my passenger, before pulling up next to us (on the other side) at which point I reverse as fast as I can, and accelerate out of their as fast as possible, they didn’t follow us…
Any ideas on what they had up their sleeves?? I’m inclined to think that the car was potentially going to get stolen…
