Good Camera Repairer in Merseyside

Hi All,

Can anybody recommend a good camera repirer in the Merseyside and surrounding area?

I have an Olympus mju700. After switching on it opens then closes the lense. Then flashes a couple of error codes on the screen (D: 5f08 and 5e02 on a blue screen). I think (after some googling) the sliding door may be acting up. I can still review my memory card fine.

I’ve used Newton Ellis & Co in Liverpool City centre (29 Cheapside, 0151 236 1391) to clear some censor dust spots. They did a fine job but it took them nearly 4 weeks to do it. It’s a tiny repair shop, but a very busy place. Also very conveniently placed behind Moorfields Station.

Thanks, dropped it in this morning. Surprisingly busy for a Saturday morning as you say. Hopefully looking at £55 ish and 10 days. Looks like a common problem.
