Anyone heard of Linden Special Vehicles in Wellingborough

Somebody told me about them : Apparently they have a twin turbo car and are at present updating their website to offer staged tuning packages a la Monkfish with some imported bits from Oz (exhausts etc). As they are updating the site not much info available so might take a trip over to see them . So has anyone been over and what did you think ?

Yeah they originally imported my car and most the VX GTS's

I expect Tim from LSV will be along also who owns the company

I was under the impression LSV were the daddies of the Holdens in the UK. It was they who imported the originals over back in the early nineties far before Vauxhall jumped on the bandwagon with the manaro.

My car (VX1 HSV GTS(UK)) was imported by HSV UK who imported the official cars direct from HSV in Australia. Mine was one of the last being build number 002 VX GTS (UK)they imported some where in the region of 38 cars in total. HSV UK closed up shortly after my car being sold by them.

My Monaros going there on the 18th for quite a bit of work, so I'll be able to let you know in a few weeks. Along with various things I'm having the ripshifter fitted (price wise roughly the same as Monkfish - a few pounds cheaper to be exact) and I've asked about the performance pac too. I've spoken to Nick there who seems a really nice guy and did a fair big of juggling to fit me in with a courtesy car.

Yea Chipchap ive been to Monkfish already , nice blokes spent time with me even though they looked busy.Took me out in the Malloo with the Wortec exhaust dropped me at a layby and whizzed past in Loud and Not so Loud!! settings . Think thats what I will go for but dosnt hurt to look . Im in a lucky position im 30-40 mins from Monkfish and 15-20 mins from Linden and Rapid GB so spoilt for choice . As I said earlier Linden are to introduce tuning packs soon so I would like to discuss that with them first , also they import from Oz and theyve been doing this longer than us over there.

Heard lots of good things about them and rumours of course

However i have heard alot more about them recently and Nick is a guy i used to be very good mates with, just drifted apart (probably my fault to be honest)and i can say he is a very good guy, methodical and knowledgable. My friend is getting his Jag XK8 LPG'd there and as they are only 5 minutes from my house i am intending to visit with my Monaro for a chat with my old mate to talk about the way forward.

Vxr Monaro : sorry dont know your name , Can you let me know how you get on when you visit them please.I wont be visiting for a while but am keen to see what they can do to a normally aspirated engine , brakes ,steering etc .
