Minimal power gains, insta ban on most track days.

Should be OK on a Megablade, but I know several Furys which used to run with bike racecans in RGB, one of which basically fell apart in the confined heat and set fire not only to the sidepod but also the grass underneath.....

Due to being let down 1 day before my SVA I had to fit an old race can to my car for its SVA, it failed it sounds test (not really suprising!) it was 106.8dB!!!

So if you can bear it and your neighbours won't mind then go for it, I now run the proper exhaust which is around 102dB still too loud for normal track days

Have done back to back dyno runs with the blade engine and different cans.

The race can gave more peak power but the std fireblade can not only passed trackday noise limits but was also much more drivable with much better low down power delivery/spread. Race cans sound nice though.

Always best to keep a selection and fit dependent on use.

thanks for your comments wasnt sure if a race can was much louder than the standard box, and would the price justify power gains if any.
