Typical man thought, I was minding my own business when the thought occurred to me, how many times have i flown in the last 12months? Turns out 32flights. No wonder I fill a passport a year!

Best Airport Abu Dhabi or Miri(so small you get through in ten min!happy days!

Worst Airport either Mumbai or Atyrau Kazakhstan

So this led me to ponder how many flights have you lot done in the last 12months and best and worst airport?

A hundred or so.

Then again, it's my method of paying the bills.

hmmm...100 flights. Edinburgh to Dublin and back every week. Dublin is the worst. The DAA staff manage to make UK Civil Servants appear motivated.

One. However there was a stop half way so i get to choose between Casablanca and Ouagadougou. Well, let's just say the toilet in Ouagadougou airport was missing its seat.

Missing a few consonants, too...

Abu dhabi is immaculate and fairly smart, but it has to take the prize for the most boring airport ever IMO. The duty free is actually tiny and right at the end of the terminal, and there seemed to be very little in the way of entertainment whilst I was there (last Saturday and this Wednesday).

All time favourite is probably Oslo, fairly small and modern and stylish, actually a nice place to be.

Another vote for Mumbai Airport as the worst! I'd also vote the taxi rank outside it as the worst taxi rank!

All time favorite is Oslo, which is handy as I work there.

Thanks for the compliment, I thought I just had rose tinted glasses on.

I dont like airports with no windows, Gatwick is a craphole of the highest order. Koh Samui in Thailand is fun, checked my bag through 'security' and realised I'd left my bag in there. They told me to walk over and get out / put in what ever I wanted, this was tagged straight to Manchester too.

To the OP, lots of folk on here fly a lot and not just on planes where people clap when they land. I would don a flame proof suit after that willy waving post.

I liked Oslo too - even made the effort to say hello to Sneijder (despite not flying BA).

The SAS lounge was really homely.

I've done 71 flights in 18 months totally around 100k miles - it's all died down for a number of reasons, but I've been approached for a job involving 40% travel so lets wait and see.

We've extended the departure hall in Oslo so I have BA, Continental, Finnair, TAP, Swiss, Turkish and Air Berlin all to myself at one end. Makes things easier having to not scrap with SAS all the time.

Not flying as much as i used to but still around 1 or 2 a month.

Best airport, probably Schipol, with a worthy mention to Osaka.

Worst, there are a few, in europe, any London Airport and Paris CDG is the pits. Rest of the world, some of the African Airports i've been to have been interesting, with Pointe Noire probably the worst.

Cool. Do they have a shooting range, somewhere to strip your gun, an assault course, etc? Oh, wait, you meant...

Atyrau airport is better than it was, not too long ago it was a porta cabin with no seats, toilet or anywhere to wait (which was fun in winter).

It's still crap mind you.

My fave airport? Schipol, probably more to do with Murphy's bar than anything else...

I've only flown once in the last twelve months. I've spent loads of time at the airport though.

The one flight was extra special though - I was in the front!

only 6 this yr. schipol is by far the best airport i've been through. the worst ever has to be wroclaw, my living room is bigger than their departure lounge.

I do like Schipol. I was there a month ago flying back to the UK from the US. I landed from Minneapolis St. Paul into Amsterdam, and had 3 hours to burn there. Had a wonder around, and, as it was my holidays, I thought I'd have a ciggy. So, I was told that the smoking area is outside.

I ended up outside, in Amsterdam, able to wonder into the city (and probably roam most of Europe), and not a single person had checked my passport.
