HELP! Boot will not release

Getting low on the old go-go juice and can not get the damn boot open!

Any ideas?

It will not release of the key fob

Just as all the other problems have finally been sorted and now something simple is scruppering me!

Help!

assuming thatthe release solinoid is in the bootlid, check for a break in the wires between the body and the boot lid where they flex.

Perhaps i should also mention...

My central locking has been disconnected due to a water filled box.
I have since topped the fuel up so didnt think that would be a problem.

Maybe it is, maybe it isn't?!

Can you hear the solenoid operate? If not, it's an electrical problem so head for the fuse box. If the solenoid is trying, get the engine running (higher battery voltage gives it more kick) and try to push the boot lid up or down to take the load off the latch while you operate the release.

I have the same problem, the solenoid is not even trying and it is a new solenoid. The fuses are all OK. Sorry to jump in but had no luck asking previously.
