has anyone changed the size of the no plate on a monaro vxr (smaller one)and if so where did you go for it and wot size did you go for?

I've got a small front plate on my vxr8,fits the recess perfectly and it's legal.Try fancy plates NI.

Just google No plates there are 100 s of sites i ve done it too full size plate looks c*** also if B I B ask just say cars not got UK type approval and its legal to put on a smaller plate . What you cant do is change typeface to (boy racer style) or change spacing although thats obvious .

Got a front plate made up by craigsplates for my monaro, its an import plate with the lettering at a height of 64mm (slightly smaller than normal). You can fit all the characters in of a new style plate but theres no space left for any emblems at the side like the eurosign needed to go abroad.

Its not to bad lol, But the Police in other area's not like it to much. Mines the same size motor bike riders fit.
One advantage with it being that small is it cant be read by ANPR and looks better lol

With that type of plate you are just asking to get pulled by the police, and since you dont need to be a Rocket scientist to work out it's illegal you will win a £60.00 fine
