TVR Challenge accident - Combe

Just got in, and the guys (Ben and Rich Wright) have asked me to post a thread to let everyone know that they are OK.
It was a large prang with several cars off on the oil at Folly corner, Combe.
Ben's engine let go and dropped all its fluids on the track, causing him to skid off.
Owen lost it on the oil, which was everywhere, hit Ben rupturing his fuel tank and the cars caught fire.
Everyone following also went off on the fluids and were undamaged/unhurt.
The Marshalls dowsed everything, the race was stopped.
Both Owen and Ben went to Hospital to check them over, I believe Owen has cracked a couple of ribs and Ben has mild concussion. But as of 21:00, both are fine.
It was a high speed accident with some heavy impact, but fortunately, and as usual, the cars held up well and both guys escaped major injury.
The cars are badly damaged but fixable.
I'm sure there will be more updates as time goes on, but to all their friends that are on here, they are OK.

I've spoken to Richard tonight, Ben is out of hospital with minor cuts and bruises and what will no doubt become a large headacre. He says a big thankyou to all who helped on the afternoon both with Ben and the car.
Hope Owen isn't too sore, plus I hope those keys turned up.
Anyway lets hope Angelsey isn;t as dramatic.
