Mk6 Fiesta and i-pod
Discussion
Hello Ford folks
We're about to buy a rather nice 2006 Fiesta 1.4 for my OH.
It's a Ghia so has a load of toys and nice bits on it but she wants to plug her i-pod into it.
I know that i-pod-ness wasn't specified as an option (her Mum bought it new) but is there some kind of retro-fit device that can be purchased to make this possible?
I've had a poke around it but I can't see an AUX socket or a socket to plug a jack cable in to, just a cigarette lighter socket. Does this mean I'm out of luck?

Some had the AUX button on the stereo but not the socket.
It's a simple job to fit one, aux cable is £12-20 from a ford dealer and comes with the gromet to fit it next to the cigarette lighter. If you're doing it yourself make sure you have a set of radio keys to pop it out, or ask the dealer to do it for you. Check you have the radio code before disconnecting too.

I've found the AUX socket for £20 online and it's good to know it's a simple job for my sausage fingers
