Hey,

I've done the usual internet trawl and I've been reading the wedding mags my Girfriend (ahem... sorry, fiance) has been buying and I've been looking for wedding photographers for our big day. We've got a couple names in mind, but I thought I'd maybe ask here and see if anyone can suggest anyone else (perhaps share experiences of how they worked or examples of photos?)

Cheers for the help!

GetCarter lives up there - make him work for a change instead of swanning about doing landscapes!

Can highly recommend this lady http://www.lynnekennedy.co.uk/ if it's the west highlands you're after.

Well names would be a start... but since you ask, it's 1st May next year, so not too far off.

And although I am an expert bush mime, my girlfriend just can't quite get the staunch correct, so guess that rules one out biggrin

P.S.

It's South West Scotland (Ayrshire) - Although one of the guys I've contacted stays in Inverness and covers the whole of Scotland included in the price.

I was at a wedding in Perth this weekend and the photographer there was very good I thought - I haven't seen his photos yet of course, but I've looked at his website and assuming these are up to the same standard I'd be happy. I'm a photographer myself, and do weddings from time to time, and IMHO he was fast, friendly, professional and seemed to know what he was doing, using proper kit well.

Forgot to say - he said he was based in Glasgow. His name was Andrew IIRC, as it is a "team" of photographers according to their website.
