Just a quick one to say hi to anyone who's going this weekend. We'll be there in the blue r26.r & the black gtr, pop over & say hello if you see us, passenger laps always available.
Oh yeah staying at the Blau Ecke for drinks & eating at the Piston Klause on Saturday night
see you there!

I'll be there in my White w/blue stripes Fiesta ST, and my dad who'll be in a Subaru Impreza WRX STI 330S.
It's our first time down there so should be interesting!
Getting in on Friday night, will be on the ring most of Saturday and Sunday.

I've just cancelled my trip due to high number of brits over there and the likely circuit closures, which combined with all the locals wanting to emulate their DTM heroes, means the insurance quandry may be more likely to rear its ugly head....
Good idea it will be packed! Germans etc are ok becasue there mostly all insured!

Cool, guess we'll watch some of that then!
Really looking forward to it now! Got no intentions of really pushing it on the ring, just going to take it easy and enjoy it! (which from everything I've read, seems to be the best approach!).
Exactly! Even if you dont get many laps in your see some nice machines, last weekend a nice Mosler was parked in the paddock area - would of love to see if lap...Really looking forward to it now! Have fun and experience the local bitburger!
I'll be there over the weekend with a few mates.
I was there last year for a week with the family when the Old Timer was on(middle of August) and after the initial madness,it calmed down after an hour or so and I had some of the best laps ever, pretty quiet, not many stoppages.
We also went to an evening session, did 2 laps, there was an accident,so they decided to close the track,as it happened about 6pm.
It's just luck of the draw sometimes how many laps you can get in
