After getting silly prices on shipping from OZ I decided to have a custom 3" stainless system fabricated over here. I have supplied the cats, x-pipe and silencers. My friends at AFR Tuning are doing the rest. Here are pictures of various parts sourced from the US prior to installation. I will post the finished pictures up later in the week:

Headers (Sourced from OZ) Beautifully made, but incredibly tight fit. Need to remove the stock starter heat shield and fab an alternative

Sports "Cats"

X-Pipe

Middle Silencers

Rear Silencers (Removable)

It will not be the cheapest system in the world but will still work out cheaper than buying from OZ, the components are of a known quality and the X-Pipe is not restrictive like some I have seen.

I believe they are copies of a certain well known make, of which you have an exhaust on your car! Do they look like the said makes headers?

They're not DiFilippo's with that bolt on branch section.
Although that saves dropping the steering rack wink
What size headers are they?

They look different to mine, I also dont have the taper in the collector, which is a straight 3" piece.

Poetic License. They look more like the Difillipo GenIII than any other I could see. If the maker had any sense he would have changed a few bits anyway purely from a copy right point of view. They are 1 3/4" BTW which should be fine for my goals.

If you know where the guy is can you tell GSD200 as well.

From memory it cost me £130 to ship, and yes, they are tight LOL

On the shipping note, shop around and you can get some good rates.

I shipped a full system (headers, cats, cat back) from Oz for around £350 seafreight to my door (took about two/three weeks to turn up). Import duty and VAT on top though frown
From memory I think Ringram managed to find airfreight for the same if not less, but he had to pick it up from Heathrow.

Last time I mentioned exhausts the subject of the X or H pipe came up, I didnt really take any notice at the time, is their an advantage to going for one or the other?

A mates DF manifolds has the bolt on no2 header tube. Makes perfect sense for fitment.

Must just be with their 1-7/8 headers. Less room probably. Agree it will help install a lot.

Nope, his were 1 3/4", so I assume they do it with all of theirs.
