Can't keep food down
Discussion
i never thought i would end up posting here, but you guys seem to know your stuff so let me throw this one to you
as the title suggests i am currently unable to keep any food down ( that i can think of ) without throwing it up minutes after i finished
only reason i can think of this is my stomach just handle foods at the moment as recently I've been through a quite emotional and stressful week and because of that food to me just never seemed interesting and therefore could go the whole day without eating
now my life has settled down again i have been trying and trying to eat but my body doesn't want any of it
any suggestions of what i can try, to build my appetite up

Hi. I'm no doc, but it sounds like you have a bug - have you been to your doc?
When I get stressed, I make sure I run - clears the c**p out of my system and really clears the head. Healthy body, healthy mind and all that. Don't know if this helps in your situation, but consistently running has been a godsend for me over the years.
Otherwise, try soup. At least it'll come back up easily!

Are you eating small amount each time? If you've not been eating much recently then your system will get a shock if you try and eat a lot suddenly.
Other than that it's going to be the usual advice - small sips of water so as not to get dehydrated, simple food like dry toast, and if it doesn't get better after a couple of days see a doctor...

Going for a run with no food in you, possibly dehydrated and feeling like death may not work out too well?? Make sure you take your mobile with you.
Assuming you actually feel like $hit??
to be honest apart from the runny nose and a cough i feel fineAssuming you actually feel like $hit??

I went to the doctors with this, when I started a new job and loads on at work I was retching like mad, I remember sit ups and on the rower was a nightmare, he gave me some tablets which calm the acid effect in your digestive system, but he said stress can make this happen, I never brought up food though and this was one of his questions, I'd defo see a GP bud for peace of mind.Gassing Station | Health Matters | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
