Recommend me some roads

Gents,

If I were to start in Walton-on-Thames and had 3 or 4 hours to waste tomorrow what roads/route would you recommend?

You could do worse than follow your nose down to Goodwood. A3 to get you past Guildford then off at Milford, then I'd do 283/285. You might even be able to grab some lunch at the Vitra if it's open.

A4494, the road from m40 jct 8 to reading is nice when quiet.
