The only diecast of a road car (rather than a police/rally) that I can find is this one;

I suspect it is made by Vanguards or Corgi so quality should be pretty good.

I've got a nicely detailed model of a rally car in Q8 colours. It's only small scale though, 1:48 I think.

This is it in different livery http://www.diecast-cars.co.uk/product.asp?P_ID=148...

Yes, Corgi(Vanguards) have done a few.

I've got a road version and several police variants. 1/43

A German company called Schabak produced a 1/24th scale Sapphire Cosworth in the late 80's. I am aware that it was produced in white or met. blue and was available in Ford packaging, so it may have been a dealer model. It was well detailed by the standards of it's time.
Also from the same time a 1/43 scale was produced by Vitesse models in grey metallic.

I have a dark metallic grey one somewhere, still in the box. It's not highly detailed.

Perhaps not by todays standards, but in the late 80's Schabak and Gama were about the best available. We're talking pre-minichamps era here.

I have the Vanguards model in Moonstone Blue. It's ok , but could be better. A lot better infact. The alloy details are horrible , the reg plates to thick and there are no wing mirrors.

Keep an eye on HPI racing 1:43 New releases. The Saph is right up their street. I would not be surprised if they do cast a prototype within the next 1-2 years. And if they do!? it will blow the Vanguards away 10 times over

K & R Replicas make a 1/43rd scale kit or built model. http://www.kandrreplicas.co.uk/kr121.html
they do not have lots of detail but are OK and look better than the photos, I could have one built to your colours and number plate etc.
