On Autosport now saying Stoner to miss the next 3 races while he recovers from his virus complaint.
Being replaced by Kalio.

Sounds like a bit of an excuse now that the overall is slipping away, it could be true but he come across as the sort that would look for any excuse when things arn't going his way
I really did try to like Stoner and not Rossi, since its boring going with the fans favorite but I just cannot like him, especialy after his "Rossi gets all the luck" Huff the other week

Casey has looked like death after the last few races, i wouldn't say he was the sort looking for an excuse to give up, he needs to get his health sorted out.

kallio rides 3 races and finishes last, Hayden strugles to finish in the top ten for the rest of the season, stoner returns and wins a race.
Next year he demands double pay.

Stoner diagnosed with "Extreme Fatigue"

What is "Extreme Fatigue"? I've checked wikipedia, which states what I thought - basically tiredeness, physical or mental, i.e. aching muscles or lethargy. And how is it possible to diagnose that you have the "fatigue" of a 50 year old person? didn't know we all had a fatigue-rating.

I guess the guy's just knackered, in plain english.

Reading between the lines, I think he is having to push himself so hard to ride THAT bike the way he does, that its eventually caught up with him .

When Freddy Spencer won both 250 an 500 titles in the same year, he complained of similar .
Freddy never won anthing else after that year either.

I wonder if its all caught up with stoner at once.

Physical or mental fatigue. I think more mental, due to do the pressure (mostly self imposed) of not being as competitive as he was against Rossi.
