As the title says
Thought I would post on here and get a wider view of people's opinions.

Just wondering the average length of time people have been together before they live together?

Is there a right time? scratchchin

i would say after about a year..... thats what my intentions are any way, when we get back from our trip in March we intend to move in together.

That may change though as I have a fear of commitment! lol

Been on a long holiday together yet? That way you'll know what you're getting into to some extent...

Also, have you given him the dutch oven yet?

I moved in with my ex after six months. Was probably sooner than ideal but was sick of living with my parents. We lived together for eight years and got on very well, so while it might have been too early that certainly wasn't to its detriment.

The main thing that determines its success is, I think, how you cope with the adjustment that takes place once you're living together. You have to realise that, when you're dating, you meet-up purely for the purpose of enjoying each other's company, so 100% of the time you're together is fun. Once you live together you have domestic chores and stuff, so the percentage of the time that you're together and having pure fun plummets. It's best to have your own assigned roles around the house and try to only actually be together for recreation.

Also, just because you're going to bed together every night doesn't mean you're getting laid every night. Something I struggled with for some time hehe

He farts under the quilt then proceeds to thrust your head under the quilt for you to enjoy the fine aroma produced from his corn hole.

Don't be confused, it is a sign of deep love, if he does this, it shows a lot of respect and trust.

Took me 6 months to move in with my now wife, been together 10 years, all is good. I moved in with an ex that I was seeing for 3 years, lasted 2 days and I moved out and told her to GAGF. More person dependent that time dependent

What a coincidence - I'm in the identical position. Just over 2 1/2yrs together and I move in in mid-september. She originally spoke of it over 1 1/2yrs ago but I said that was too early and that it would come when ready. Now I'm ready and very much looking forward to it smile (not least, because she's giving me my very own man room!)

On the second date. If they don't react too badly to me turning up in a wedding dress on the first date that is.
