I've just booked the above for an early evening/late afternoon (5pm) dinner before heading to see a show.
Has anyone been and is it as good as it looks?

Was top romantic resturant in 2007 I think (Hardens) I've been a couple of times, great wine list, food very good. Atmosphere is excellent (but probably not at 5:00pm

The conservatory at the back is fine for business lunch but the booths are best for more intimate occasions.

Not so sure about recently but it used to be a good £50+ a head. Depends I guess on how much you like wine !

would be surprised if you were dissapointed.

Thanks for the quick reply. I realise 5pm is a little early but we don't have a lot of choice given our show starts at 7:30 - I guess thats the main trouble with pre-theatre bookings, especially on a Monday. At least if its quiet we're more likely to get some good service.
The cost isn't much of an issue, a little more than we usually pay but have paid more in the past for special occasions - as you say it's more the wine that brings the cost up rather than the food.

It's great.

The wine list is fabulous, and the food and service top notch.

Have fun.
