BBC page isn't working, can someone tell me what time/where I should be looking?
Link still works for me mate. Its Tuesday (11th) & Wednesday (12th) - Wednesday being the most prolific for pics. Another link at http://iya2009.com/perseid-meteor-shower-peaks-on-...Went and sat in a field for 3 hours and saw a few but it was a case of, hmm lets point the camera in that direction, turn around and what do I see, a fecking shooting star!
Complete pain this game but its definitely more luck than judgement, unless your a proper anorak I suppose,
Still quite exciting though, it feels like you could potentially get an amazing picture [:
Roll on tomorrow!
ETA - Did see about 6 or 7 though [:
Also, whilst im here. Is it just me or when on bulb mode does it take an eternity to buffer so you can take the next image? I thought my camera had borked!

Long exposure noise reduction. It takes a "dark" (shutter closed) exposure for the same length of time, to see where the hot pixels turn up. Then subtracts those from original shot.
Effective, but annoying!
Cloudy here - sky looks dark enough, but with long exposure you can see it's all clouds with only a couple of very small gaps
