on the phone at work and i heard a huge crash, went outside and saw this!

truck driver was in full panic mode, so i suggested that one of the boys from local warehouse got his fork truck,

lucky for him the wire rope stopped it falling the entire way off (or from hitting the cab), so he was able to reverse back from the junction and drag the car along.

he had driven about 2 hours with it on his truck, so lucky it hadnt happend on the main road

Wrong. Poorly secured load. If plod had driven past him in the situation of the first picture, he would have got fined and points or lost his licence. It doesn't matter what the load is, if it is not secured properly it is a hazard. That is why us truck drivers get such a bad reputation.

So if someone was in front of him when this happened presumably they'd be a bit flatter now?

Yeah but what about hitchhikers? You know technically they're not prostitutes?

Hitch hikers? No chance, I would prefer to sit in my cab with the door unlocked out the back of our Peckham store.

yeah, thats why i got the forklift sorted and a brush to sweep all the crap away - the driver was well stressed - his boss was blasting him down his phone!!!

funny thing was, the fire brigade turned up half way through, stopped, took one look and drove off!, turned out they where just testing the hydrants - for a few seconds the driver looked ready to start crying!

Saw a peach on Friday at Gatport Airwick.

Double decker car transporter got lost and drove into the drop off area. The roof was too low, he couldn't proceed and blocked the road. I would've stayed to see how he got out of it, but was running late for my flight.

Have heard many stories of cars, old and new falling off transporters.

What's worse is that the car only has 1 wheel on terra firma here but the forkie is more interested in you taking the picture than safely lowering the car yikes

Is he easily distracted by chance?

a bloke was bipping his horn because he wanted to get in the junction and didnt think a burnt out bmw hung off the front of a truck was reason enough to stop him..........
