Hi there,

Can someone help. My battery seems to be drained and too low to recharge!.

Can anyone let me know which battery is suitable? I understand it's gel filled and where I could buy one.

Just spoke to Greypaul and they advised that it was around £220 and I had to take the car there which is quite a way from me!.

Im based in peterborough.

cheers
John

£220 for a battery is a fortune,,, Any good spare (auto electrical) shop will have a good quality battery in stock for half that.. Most would fit it for free as well,, Make sure you have stereo code...

Got mine from http://www.mdsbattery.co.uk/defaultuk.asp
Send an email and ask for Mike Field's advice on best one.
Easy enough to fit yourself..

We use Halfords Calcium range, they really do take some stick, you'll find the model guide in their store, expect to pay around £90 retail or £60 if you have a trade card.

another battery problem - this time on a 430.

it was flat and needed a booster pack start, now it wont start again and is on trickle charger. any chance of it charging enough to start again do you think?

also if i need a new battery does anyone know what it should be? or recommendations of a better one? i used gel ones in the past which seemed better - think it was optima but dont know which would fit

thanks

If the trickle charger is left on over night this should put enough charge in to start it.. If not by the morning start ringing around for a battery
