stepper motor

Hi can anyone help? revs on my griff 500 stay at 1500/2000 when car is hot, cleaned the stepper motor and butterfly still no change, would it need to be replaced if so wheres the best place to buy from.took it out for a run tonight and its now got a misfire as well, any ideas?

There are numerous threads on here especially by Blitz-racing on how to check the stepper motor.

You could also try resetting ECU by disconnecting the battery for a few seconds.

Base idle next to throttle may need resetting (allen key from underneath for throttle stop and above for the bypass valve). Seems like as these get gummed up, they can be tweaked, but when/if you clean the passages out they will once again need to be reset.
