Wiper Park Switch??

Is there such a thing as a park switch on the matador wiper system?
Drivers blade does'nt park level with the black outline on the glass i noticed other cars do.
Maybe it's this switch or TVR modified the design on later cars.

Im not sure if its a fault but i had a car that did this and i found the way to rectify it was to remove the wiper arm when in the rest position and then put it back on ( in the position you reqire ). On my car it was a 10 minute job with a 10mm spanner.

Well, I definalty would NOT do as Hunter suggests.
Let me tell you a story:

My first car was a nissan/datsun 280zx at the age of 18 ( yes insurance was very much cheaper then ). I had a similar problem; the wipers wouldnt park in the correct position. i.e. they were nearly half way up the widscreen.
Well I thought I shall just move them into the correct position; I did and all looked good until I turned on the wipers.
They immediatley went down and made 2 lovely sweeping archs on my bonnet leaving a very pretty geometrically perfect deep gouge back to the primer.

Perhaps not in the same context as the OP but it has made me chuckle, thanks for the bringing the memories back.

EDIT: hunter didnt read "in the park position", mine had obviously stopped at the extent of travel.

If he wanted to check what postion the wiper would terminate its arch, when the wiper arm is removed he only has to mark the spline to see the angle of the final resting place of the wiper arm befor and ater its relocation.

Hunter is correct - did it on my 350 when I bought it. Easy fix.

I have done all that i can't reduce further as the arm will hit the bonnet.
It's as if the arm needs to be angled more than it is as it will never be level as it is.
I have noticed the drivers arm is shorter than the passenger side i think that is correct(not blades)
This maybe normal parking on the early cars.
