Having had dealings with few of these characters they are quite tinpot wannabes in real life. Mario Condello was a mate of my mates uncle. He had an Audi A8 which he stashed at my mates house just before he got offed. Needless to say we took the Audi out every now and again to clear its pipes, although we never drove it out of our neighborhood or we probably would have been shot by some muppet looking to make a name for himself. Anyways, as gangsters go they are all/were pretty average, like Alphonse, he was just a big fish in a very small town. I see Roberta Williams on occasion, she is as rough as a badgers arse in real life too!
