Hi all wavey

I was at the Ring Monday 29th June for an evening session. Sadly there were 2 long closures that meant I only had time to use 2 laps from the 4 lap ticket I had purchased.

Seeing as I'll not be going back this year I wondered if it'd be possible to sell the part used ticket to get some of my money back. Is this accepted practice? If so, where to sell it - ebay, pistonheads classifieds (but which section?).....? Any ideas gratefully received!!

Cheers,
Longers

Knowing the robbing bar stools its probably empty now. I know when I put my card in the same pocket of my phone and it wiped the laps, it took some serious ranting to get them back.

Also a friend of mine had only done 7 laps and the ticket was empty even though it was a 8 lap ticket.

mad

I had an 8 lap ticket with 6 laps left on it in one of the cubby holes in my car. My best mate borrowed the car for the day and treated it to a inside / outside valet by the local poles before he gave it back.

I didnt have the heart to tell him...

(ETA: That was a year or two back, when they still looked like regular car park tickets)

Ebay will do it but the new cards last for 2 years AFAIK so it may be worth hanging on to it for a future trip.

The laps put on the card only last until the end of that year, but the money you put on it lasts 2 years.

If anyone is interested I have a ticket with 6 laps left on it. Didn't bother me at the time but it's looking increasingly unlikely that I'll manage to go this year.

I'll sell it for the price of 5 so you get a lap on me rather than let them go to waste. Ring card is a nice design too. Grey with the circuit outline in red on it.

So a 4 lap block is €72 plus a single lap at €23 so that's €95. Call it £90 including registered post.

Please drop me a PM if you'd take it.
